3-3 Our Role as an :Ambassador;
After a long interview with Mr. Lin, he shared his unforgettable life with scroll painting restoring. We found this technology amazing and very important to our culture. However, Mr. Lin also told us about how he wished to pass down this technology and he wanted to raise more attention on scroll paintings. Our project is an integration of every information related to restoration. Hopefully, we can raise more attention on scroll painting and let more people see this beauty in Chinese culture.
3-4 Impact and Influence
This topic is a great challenge for us. Even in Taiwan, there are only few people understand this technique.Lucky, we can find some informations on the internet. At the beginning, we are all unfamiliar with each other; we have some inevitable disagreements in our opinions, so we argued a lot. We did not have enough basic skill of making a website and filming a video, but we willing to take the time to learn these techniques. For us, the biggest change is our attitude; this changes from passive to active, which also make us more understand each other. Originally, we think it is easy to do. But, in the process, we found many tiny details ( For example, data arrangement and website making, etc) that we have to notice again and again. Teachers helped us a lot; when we have any misunderstanding, they will always guide us step by step.
3-5 Respect toward the IPR and Citation
When attending this year・s Cyberfair, we learned a lot more about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from our teacher, which includes the citation of pictures and texts. The entire website is protected under the IPR. Also, since the pictures, videos, and the interview are under the scope of IPR protection, one cannot utilize the content of the website or the information related to the Club in any public occasions or commercial activities without proper authorization from Lin Mao-Long.
3-6 Lesson
We spent a lot of time creating the questionnaire and survey. We weren・t familiar with writing questions, integrating forms, especially designing the questionnaire. At first we put in more professional and academic questions. After a discussion with our teacher, we found out our forms couldn・t really reflect people・s opinion since it isn・t a well-known technology. Therefore, we designed another one to be closer to people・s daily life. We learned a lot from the experience, including the use of google form.
