3.2 Inspiration
As a civil servant, Director Chi originally planned to enjoy his life after retirement. But later he realize that he will regret if he didn’t finish the documentary Beyond Beauty: Taiwan From Above. Therefore, he gave up his job as a civil servant, and finally started his project of aerial photography. Director Chi experienced fear and concern during the process, but it also made him become who he is. His enthusiasm, in addition, inspired a lot of people to join and do aerial photography with him. Director Chi has been changing his goals throughout his life, but now, he decides to keep recording the beauty of Taiwan also to help his local community. He thinks doing aerial photography can help him find new challenges and goals, moreover control and adjust his pace of life. All these changes have given Director Chi many inspiration and ideas.
