It has been more than ten years since the founding of O'right. From an obscure organization to today's world-famous, multi-million dollar enterprise, not only has O'right won a considerable number of design awards in these ten years, but also made significant contributions to the global village.

O'right Headquarters

O'right's plant is the first green cosmetics plant in Asia.

Green Headquarters

Due to the daylighting design of the HQ, the temperature indoors averages 5℃ lower than the temperature outdoors in summer, so the number of days in which air conditioning is on does not exceed 70 throughout the year. The O'right HQ relies on solar power, harnessed from solar panels placed on the roof of the building. All rainwater and wastewater is processed in a filtration system and discharged into the company's own fishpond. All faucets in the HQ are equipped with a treadle. The faucet turns on only when force is exerted on the treadle, making use of manpower, eliminating the spread of germs and saving water. For these eco-friendly designs, the plant saves approximately 360,000 kilowatt hours of electricity (about NT$1,440,000, or US$49,076), and 216 metric tons of CO2, which is equivalent to saving 10.8 hectares of trees (½ of all trees in Da-an Forest Park, Taipei, Taiwan).

O'right

Green Product

O'right's most famous product is the Tree in the Bottle shampoo. Designed to minimize environmental pollution, the product generates only 187g of carbon emissions from manufacture to sales, which is one fifth of what shampoo in the traditional haircare industry produces. The bottle itself is made from PLA, or 100% biodegradable plastic, and features a seed of a native tree species embedded in the bottom of the bottle. As the bottle decomposes, the seed sprouts and grows into a tree. This design concept was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2013, a tremendous honor.

All of O'right's products are Natural and "8 FREE"....

with a list of all ingredients labeled on the bottom of the bottle. O'right asserts that, if disposed of, its shampoo products will not have any effects on rivers.
