I fulfilled my role on our team and learned tips for website-building.

Through the experience at the CyberFair, I gained insight into the company O'right, from their initial launch all the way to their current working infrastructure. Despite not being a huge nor particularly popular brand, their approach to manufacturing eco-friendly products is extremely impressive. Even though it takes a lot of money and effort, O'right still aims to refine their products to the best possible quality, which is very admirable to me. In this competition, not only did I fulfill my role on our team, I also learned tips for beautiful website-building from the more experienced seniors. Finishing this project on a tight schedule was especially memorable as well. I hope to and am looking forward to working with my team again in the future!

Joining the CyberFair was a new experience.

I had no idea about the workings of the "CyberFair" competition until I joined. At first, I thought making a website was an easy thing to do, but the process proved me wrong. This was my first time joining a competition which required plenty of research and website-designing skills, and the CyberFair greatly improved my ability to research a variety of information through investigation. Our team chose to explore O'right, a haircare brand which promotes a green lifestyle and hopes to "create deep and profound values" for its products. I believe this brand should gain more recognition in the future. Our earth needs protection, and by using green products, we definitely will reduce pollution around the world. Above all, I really enjoyed my experience in the CyberFair, and I appreciated this opportunity. It helped me gain more knowledge about researching, experience the importance of cooperation, and most importantly, learn about a green brand named "O'right."

We learned about the true ideals of environmental protection.

In this competition, I learned about how to work effectively with my teammates. For example, we had to decide what kind of typesetting fit our topic. We gave out typesetting examples and discussed about which one we should use and which part we should improve on. During the process, we faced a lot of difficulties. For example, we didn't have enough information and photos of O'right. So, we visited the O'right headquarters to acquire information about the company and took photos of the headquarters. We learned about the true ideals of environmental protection and how O'right achieved their goals. The one idea that I like the most is the shampoo bottle that grows a tree. This product is special, because after customers finish using the product, they can bury the bottle, which can decompose and provide nutrients to the seed embedded inside; then the bottle will grow into a tree. This innovation will make our world a greener place. Finally, I want to thank my teammates. Without them, it is impossible to finish a huge project like this. I hope I will have a chance to work with these people in the future.

O'right is the embodiment of a social value.

My initial purpose of joining this club was to improve my research skills. However, through the progress, I realized CyberFair is nothing like what I expected it to be. It involves tons of skills, critical thinking, communication, time, and energy. Hence, as we accomplished the project, I noticed a huge improvement in me. It not only advanced my research skills, it also strengthened my abilities in critical thinking and time management. I really enjoyed the time I spent working with my teammates and all the experience I gained. Other than these, I also really liked the topic we are working on, O'right. O'right is a haircare brand which promotes the use of green and organic materials. The company aims to "create deep and profound values for their products," which has inspired me to be aware of the products we use in everyday life. From O'right, I really learned the significance of using products that are natural and organic. And by sharing about O'right in the CyberFair, I hope my teammate and I can inspire more people all over the world. I really learnt a lot throughout the year, and I thank my teammates for making all of this possible.

I learned to be aware of the products we use in everyday life.

We've made through the storm.

Working through the CyberFair, there had been a number of obstacles standing in the way of our team creating a masterpiece: lack of material in web content, deadline troubles that led to raging explosions in group chat, Chinese-English translation issues, etc. But for the time being, the storm has passed. We've made it. (Ten points to Muggles!) I was glad to be able to employ my greatest skill, which is English. My jobs were writing the project narrative, translating texts, and rewriting problematic content, with a side of conceiving slogans for the website and correcting grammar mistakes and layout flaws. It was satisfying, thanks to my near-OCD. Well, the big takeaway from this project? First of all, Earth is precious; we've got to stop ruining the environment and pushing wildlife to extinction, because it's going to get pretty lonely and poisonous out there until nature strikes back and we all die. Second, what O'right does is truly impressive; not many corporations consider to protect the environment for the environment's sake (and not for sales), or even fully live up to their own ideals. Last of all, I like my team; they're marvelous, talented people, and a lot of us worked hard to get this project done. Great job, peeps.

At first, I wasn't really interested in joining the CyberFair. However, I found out it was really inspiring after putting lots of attention into this project. During our first meeting, I wasn't familiar with any of my teammates. After we got to know each other, we got along well and had good teamwork. These were wonderful teammates who devoted lots of time and effort when there were formidable tasks. Before doing any research, I knew nothing about the brand O'right. By surfing on the Internet, visiting the company, and looking at the results of the survey, I not only clearly understood the brand, but also realized O'right promotes Taiwan's green initiative to the world. O'right made me realize people need to stop harming the Earth, and it is our responsibility to protect it. I'm thankful to have joined the CyberFair and have these wonderful teammates. This accomplishment gave me confidence for doing projects. If there is an opportunity in the future, I will join the CyberFair again.

My teammates and I worked hard through the CyberFair, and we made a lot of memories. I'm glad to have worked with this best team ever. Since the first time I worked with them, I improved my abilities everyday, learned knowledge I couldn't have obtained from class, and mastered the ways of communication and teamwork. We didn't even have a team leader in the beginning; but as time passed, we developed friendship and contacted each other any time, which helped us improve and save time for our project. We also faced problems, such as difficulties during the qualification process. At first, we were unable to get our project approved, which made everyone nervous, but through communicating and coordinating with the organizer, our project was finally qualified to enter. Looking at the progress of the team, I'm glad to have grown as a student alongside them. I hope we could still work together in the future as teammates. Lastly, a big thank-you all the people who helped us during the program. Their help made us stronger and bigger.

We're scared, and we should be scared.  Her vital signs are indicating trauma. Air, water, soil and climate are declining. We, her inhabitants, apparently have become her worst enemy. What else can we preserve when home is crumbling? Culture builds upon nature. Here's an easy analogy: how can you type any words if the computer crashes? It's time to make a change. We have to protect our environment. To preserve we have to unite. Together, we want to make the world "O'right." It's a pleasure to participate in this event again. I appreciate my partners, my teachers to make this happen. But a great acknowledgment to CyberFair, that gives youth from every corner of the world to showcase their skills and convey their philosophy with what they have learned.

The 2018 CyberFair competition is one of the most remarkable events I have ever attended. Starting from planning all the way to the preparation of the competition, everyone put a lot of effort into the project. What I appreciate the most about this project is the topic we had chosen. Our task is to introduce our home to people who are not familiar with it, and our topic could be said as the most special one. The achievements of O'right Corporation taught us an important lesson, "If we took something away from nature, we need to find a way to give something back in return." These words touched me deeply. I started to think, maybe I can do something to help the environment we live in. Apart from O'right, I learned the most from my teammates. They taught me about teamwork. They taught me how important friends are. This CyberFair activity is all about teamwork. Without my team members, fulfilling the requirements is nearly impossible. Thank you to all my teammates and instructors for giving me a great experience!
