Tr. Nian Zhou Chen

Nian Zhou Chen and his wife, Li Zhen Lin, founded “Legend Lin Dance Theatre”. Because both of them have loved to drink tea since they were young, and used various teapots from different countries. However, he found out that there’s no exclusive Taiwanese teapot, Tr. Nian-Zhou Chen thinks other countries’ teapots are not suitable for Taiwanese. So he also founded “Legend Lin Teapot”. “Legend of teapot” is the teapot that Tr. Nian-Zhou Chen designed and produced for Taiwanese. Tr. Nian Zhou Chen became the first person to make a gold and silver teapot. This teapot is a wish that came true for the Chinese tea culture, now Taiwan has its own silver and gold teapot.

History of “Legend of Teapot”

Tr.Nian Zhou Chen has loved to drink tea since 20 years old. He found out that though Taiwan has it’s own tea culture, there's no exclusive Taiwanese teapot, so he began to make his own Taieanese teapot, and he founded “The Legend of Teapot”. The teapot Tr.Nian Zhou Chen made follows his belief of tea “water must wear gold or silver” and “using good material and structure can design a beautiful but also useful teapot”. Every teapot Tr.Nian Zhou Chen made has extreme crafts and creativity, many of the teapots are based on taiwanese culture, and every detail of the teapot is made perfectly. Though the teapot Tr.Nian Zhou Chen made are beautiful, but it didn’t lose it’s function, the gorgeous spout never had the problem “slaver” that tea drinkers criticizes, and the detailed handle uses ergonomics to make it easy to use. Tr.Nian Zhou Chen also uses the best on material, he uses expensive agate and gems as the button of the teapot, rare woods as it’s handle, and pure silver or gold to make the teapot. Tr.Nian Zhou Chen wants to make the best teapots, the teapots he made are loved by tea drinkers, and one of the teapot even sold with 700 thousand at the guardian auction.
