Education has been a big part of our lives, it’s what shapes us who we are. Nowadays, education has changed and it’s not just about what we learn in the classroom anymore but about exploring the world of knowledge beyond those walls and giving back to society. We've noticed that not all students have the same opportunities, especially those in different so cial and cultural settings. We realized we should use our opportunities to help those in need by providing education and contributing to achieving the goal of quality education in Taiwan. In this project, we focus on ‘space education’ and how to provide equal education to children from different backgrounds which both connect with ‘Collaborate&Unite’ We hope by promoting space education for those in different backgrounds, we will be able to inspire many more generations of kids and provide them with opportunities in the future. Through this project, we interviewed the ‘Learn By Space’ association which is the first association in Taiwan to spread ‘space education’ and provide children from different backgrounds with quality education. By researching and understanding the education standards in Taiwan, we were able to research and recognize what is necessary to change to improve the education system in Taiwan.
Education has always been a big part of our lives, whether it’s in school or outside of school we’ve always been continuously learning and seeking out new knowledge. Learning is crucial for young children varying from rural to urban areas, especially those in different social and cultural backgrounds. As students with more advanced learning environments and the availability of international resources, we acknowledge that it is our responsibility to promote education for students of different backgrounds as well. Learn By Space association started with the purpose of promoting education through the concept of space, architecture, arts, etc. Furthermore, the association creates lessons based on teaching and learning through space with the goal of helping children spark curiosity and understand the world around them, developing an international worldview amplifying the association’s concept on the importance of providing opportunities and equality of education to children from different cultures in Taiwan. We believe that with equal education and resources, students from across Taiwan in different social backgrounds will be guaranteed a better future, inspiring generations of young minds and transforming Taiwan into a modern society where education and cultures flourish.
Nowadays, education in Taiwan has been constantly improving, and more and more people can access education through Internet. In this project, we’re investigating quality education in Taiwan by understanding the education system with the hope of promoting education for children from different backgrounds and inspiration for their future through the Learn By Sp ace Association. The Learn by Space Association started with the intention of promoting diverse education and raising awareness of quality education in Taiwan. We interviewed this association to learn more about space education and how we can help to contribute and give back to society.
