Circular Life, Natural Economy

The Circular Life of Coffee Grounds and Plastic Bottles

Project Element

 What we have learned

To establish a solid foundation for our research, we employed the interviewing method and information structuring techniques from the field of sociological research. Focusing on the central issue of our topic, we conducted interviews with individuals who had significant connections to the circular economy, gathering basic information that we then carefully verified and organized. This enabled us to present accurate and precise information, supported by concrete evidence and specific facts. In addition, to further our understanding of society and the environment, we utilized the technique of questionnaire statistics from the field of sociological quantitative research. Our aim was to increase awareness of the environment and its relevance through our research, and we distributed the questionnaire on various social media platforms such as Gmail, Line, Facebook, and Instagram. Over the course of six weeks, we received approximately 384 responses, which we analyzed from multiple perspectives to generate an objective mixed research result. However, we encountered a limitation in terms of the diversity of age ranges among the questionnaire responses, which may have affected the development of our topic studies. Nevertheless, the objectivity of the questionnaire format proved advantageous for our research, as it provided valuable insights into how much society values our circular economic study. This helped us to gain a deeper understanding of the circumstances that cannot be explained by simply organizing information or conducting qualitative studies.

How we act as ambassadors and spokespersons

We took on two different roles in this project - that of company manager and environmental ambassador. As company managers, we acted as ambassadors, interviewing Ccilu and creating questionnaires to educate the public about the circular economy. The video of the interview was made available online and on our website to further promote awareness of the circular economy in Taiwan. As ambassadors within our group, we engaged with students in our school, encouraging them to learn more about the circular economy and promoting circular economy products. We also reached out to people of all ages and professions to participate in our questionnaire, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives on the topic. Our efforts have influenced how people think about the circular economy, with more individuals becoming interested in circular economy products and practices.

What impacts did we made in our society

Throughout this project, we have strengthened the relationship between our school and the local community by promoting awareness of the circular economy. Our interview has enabled us to spread positive knowledge about this important topic, and people in our community have learned new things about the circular economy through our website. By viewing our website, people can gain a better understanding of the circular economy and learn how they can contribute to the environment. Students can explore the website to gain a deeper understanding of how to implement circular economy practices. Company managers can also benefit from the information provided on our website to learn more about the circular economy. For adults, the website helps highlight the importance of the circular economy for the environment and encourages them to become more environmentally friendly. Furthermore, as more people view our website, more funds may be allocated toward promoting the circular economy. This increased awareness of the circular economy will encourage people to purchase circular economy products, leading to a more convenient and efficient lifestyle.
