Rumah Victory

Rumah Victory, aimed to guide people undergoing criminal rehabilitation and assist them to return to society, was founded by An-Pong Cheng. Currently around 10 people are receiving discipline and 20 are engaging in their own careers. The association relies on the revenue of its electrotherapy pavilion and beef noodle shop, acquiring staff from the “graduates” of the association. When they first founded the association at Shiding, the nearby residents avoided them and treated them badly. However, with faith and strong spirit, An-Pong insisted on keeping the association running; after a couple years, the electrotherapy pavilion and beef noodle shop gradually went on track.

Rise from the ashes

Sadly, good things never last. At 1 am on July 6th, 2019, a fire burned all of An-Pong’s hard work and even took 2 of his close friends. According to the news, only 4 people were saved from the fire. After the fire, An-Pong suffered from the tragedy and could only return to the place 3 days after. Through 1 year of fundraisings and reconstructions, Rumah Victory has almost fully recovered from the fire.
