Team Introduction:

This year, 9 Taiwanese senior high students decided to participate in the 2022 Cyber Fair and chose the topic of "The General of Justice - Xsing Taizhao" as we all are curious about Taiwan’s Procuratorate and legal system. Our team divides the work and cooperate together to investigate Chief Prosecutor Mr. Hsing Tai Chao’s experiences and job duty. Through interview, research, and analysis, we have a deeper understanding of the role of prosecutors and the procuration system.

As the completion of a website requires substantial work, our group communicates effectively. With the instructors, Bear Shaw, and Wings Peng’s guide, suggestions, and technical support, the project went smoothly.

As a fourth-time and three consecutive years participant of the CyberFair Program, with the experiences from past years, this year the workflow was way smoother than before. This teaches me that practice makes perfect, anyone could achieve one’s goal or become a pro at doing a certain thing after doing it several times. In addition, this year our topic is about the high prosecutor Xsing Taizhao, it is such an honor to understand how Mr. Xsing has reached his status and his traits for becoming a leader. As the leader of this year’s project, I think doing research on Mr. Xsing not just simply makes me a better citizen, but also allows me to learn from a true leader who works in the government.

Being part of the cyber fair competition, I have not only improved my teamwork and communication skills, I have also learned the importance of the Taiwan Prosecutor’s Office. Although during the process our group encountered challenges such as inadequate communication which makes the preparation work difficult. However, through the process, I understood the need for leadership and collaboration because completing the website needs various information such as interviews and detailed knowledge of the topic. Our group all devoted efforts to complete the website, which is a very unique learning experience. Besides learning from my teammates, I have also gained knowledge of chief prosecutor Xsing Taizhao’s personal background. I would like to thank the competition for granting such an extraordinary experience to learn from my teammates and teachers; thus understanding the values of Taiwan Prosecutor's Office and the chief prosecutor Xsing Taizhao.

This is my second year participating in the cyber fair competition. I learned valuable knowledge and how to become a great leader. As an effective communicator, we resolved challenges through discussion and support. I improved from my mistakes and also from my partners. This competition was challenging. There is limited information online, and the articles are dense with legal proper nouns. However, after the research process and the interview, I noticed how important it is to have such a stable legal system with professional adjudication in Taiwan. Mr. Xsing Taizhao is a great leader, who is always thinking about how to bring justice and balance to Taiwan. I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up, and now that I've had this experience, I'm more confident in entering the legal field.

I feel really honored to be one of the members of this school cyber fair club. Before starting this project, I knew almost nothing about Taiwan's High Prosecutor’s Office and never heard about Xsing Taizhao. It is not an easy topic for us, we spent a long time researching and finally figuring out what Mr. Xsing Taizhao and the prosecutor's office do. I think the most difficult part for me was interviewing Mr. Xsing Taizhao because I am not good at communicating with people. But throughout the interview, I found that he is a really nice person and I learned a lot from him. I also improved my teamwork and communication skills through the whole project-making process. It was an extraordinary experience to watch the special equipment in the prosecutor's office and gain knowledge about how they investigate crime. Overall, it is excellent to join this cyber fair competition.

Participating in CyberFair is a valuable experience for me. I had limited knowledge about Taiwan's legal system and prosecutor’s job at the beginning. But after the interview with Mr. Xsing, I would dramatically say that I’m something of an expert now. Of course, the process wasn’t easy. Since we’re working on an unfamiliar topic, the research stage is difficult for me. It took me hours to figure out the structure and details of Taiwan's legal system. Being a rookie in the team, I get to learn from my experienced teammates, which pushes me to improve my research ability. The most precious part is the conversation with Prosecutor Xsing. He expressed his interesting values to us, which are worth more than anything in the textbook.

At the very beginning, we didn't have any knowledge about the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office or it’s leader and our interviewee, the Chief Prosecutor. As a result, we had to do a good amount of research in order to build any understanding about what we are aiming for. Didn’t quite understand what we were looking for, we didn’t have an easy time digging into the topic. There was even one time when we researched a wrong topic, the Supreme Prosecutors Office in Taiwan, for two days. But in the end, we still managed to gain rich knowledge about the job of prosecutor, Taiwan High Prosecutors Office and Hsing Tai-Chao. It was a fun experience filled with a sense of accomplishment as we constructed our knowledge base from zero.

Throughout the process of conducting research and interviewing Mr. Xsing Taizhao, I was able to gain a certain amount of knowledge about the legal system and the prosecutor’s job, which I didn’t know before this project started. In addition, I’ve learned how to figure things out through different routes if one doesn’t work. For example, Mr. Xsing Taizhao wouldn’t let us record him on camera because of privacy issues, so we took notes on our devices. However, I think if our group wants to work more efficiently, we need to communicate more effectively so we can get things done faster and better. Overall, I think competing in Cyberfair competitions can allow me to improve in many perspectives.

I’m very happy to participate in this international cyberfair. It was a race experience and I got taught very much. During the interview, I learned some new knowledge and learned about the Taiwan Prosecutor's Office such as what they do and what they use. In addition, though this international cyberfair I knew that completing a web page requires so many procedures, the production process is also very complicated, and it requires the full cooperation of the team members. During this experience, I knew that there is no impossible task, as long as I work hard, I can overcome it. Also, I found that I have a lot of potential, I really got stronger, and I admired myself more and more.
