In the past, there were many non-environment-friendly products that harmed the environment such as plastic bottles. These plastic bottles can’t be naturally dissolved and may take hundreds of years to decompose in nature. Plastic is made of liquefied petroleum gas, and natural gas mixed that can’t be dissolved naturally, it needs at least 400 years to dissolve one plastic. Furthermore, the process of creating plastic produces great amounts of carbon dioxide, which pollutes the air. Decomposed coffee grounds produce tons of methane, a greenhouse gas about 25 times as damaging to the environment as carbon dioxide. Simply throwing away these products damages the environment over time, as there is an increasing amount of these products, the environment is gradually getting worse and worse.
