As a green business, Laiwa company aims to utilize recyclable waste materials to introduce new manufactured goods into the green industry. The innovative ideas and designs the company proposes contribute to the country's economic diversification. Using the appropriate way of manufacturing, Laiwa company can achieve the numerous requirements a sustainable industry requires. The company promotes sustainable industry and production through technologies like FPC, decreasing plastic usage by at least 30%. At the same time, the mass production of eco-friendly products enhances economic growth, boosting GDP. Laiwa Company invests in the newest and most advanced technologies, raising productivity and social awareness of energy-use efficiency. Through the production of environmentally-friendly homewares, Laiwa company sheds light on the importance of connecting commoners' daily lives with sustainability.
Under the United Nations, Target 11.6 of the goal seeks a curtailment of cities’ environmental impacts. Specifically, closely watching air quality and waste management will help solve consumption and pollution per capita. The goal, transparently, is not confined to the construction of infrastructure or management of resource harnessing but also encompasses the products of companies and their impacts on our society. Laiwa Company plays a significant role in Taiwan's advancements toward sustainability across cities and communities by manufacturing homewares from recyclable waste materials. As waste materials are “reused,” part of the 3Rs principle of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, rubbish accumulating in landfills all around Taiwan originally destined for incineration are rejuvenated as homeware products—effectually enhancing our community’s waste management to establish sustainable cities and communities.
All businesses across all sectors must take full responsibility for their energy and material use in both consumption and production. Companies must be responsible for decreasing their energy consumption rates and reducing harmful materials used in manufacturing. The United Nations urges to achieve net zero by 2030, and sufficiently manage wasteful materials, promoting sustainable development. Minimizing waste production and energy consumption helps approach a sustainable and imperishable society. The UN targets this specific goal on the use of natural resources, aiming to efficiently use these resources without letting them go to waste or generating more waste. To achieve a decrease in material consumption, Laiwa Company rejuvenates waste into their sold products; not only significantly reducing the amount of normal waste, but also ensuring that all products don't create any additional waste that will need excess handling or processing. The decent-paid, green job opportunities, the company creates, ensure a good quality of life.
Climate actions are actions made to combat climate change and make the planet a better place where habitats have a cleaner and safer shelter. These can vary from strategies and policies to promotions and other ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance climate resilience. Through responsive mitigation acts, the impacts of climate change can be greatly reduced. In recent years, the world has seen immense production of plastic waste that has not only damaged ecosystems, but also, eventually, impacted human health. As a result, Laiwa company is working towards the production of housewares through sustainable materials such as agricultural waste to minimize the usage of plastics in the industry. For an illustration, they gathered rice husks to produce cloth hangers and reused fishing nets to fabricate sunglasses. The environmental-friendly products effectively raise the government and public’s awareness of sustainability across international borders, contributing significantly to our Earth’s effort toward green practices and reducing carbon footprint.
Plastics are used to make large amounts of products we use in our daily lives, as they are affordable and durable. However, plastics are thrown away on a massive scale. Plastic pollution has become a severe pressing environmental issue, where recycling becomes an inefficient solution that many people don't accurately implement. Over 280 million tons of plastic have become waste, bringing irreversible impacts that humans could've prevented. The production of plastic is one of the most intense manufactures in the world that contributes to the climate crisis. Plastics are carried to sea from coastal waters and they remain on the coasts after being transported to different areas. Those plastics not only pollute on land but also in marine environments. Some of them may lead to threatened wildlife and human health. Laiwa company believes that it is crucial to fix this problem or take action to reduce the waste in our environment. At this point, Laiwa is putting time and effort into finding ways to make recycled plastic or microbeads into new products, showing its dedication to contributing to the world's environment and saving it for future generations. With advanced technologies, Laiwa company can rejuvenate plastic bottles into useful products, making this industry sustainable and environmentally friendly.

rPET is a kind of eco-friendly fabric. Most rPET fibers are made from plastic bottles. These recyclable bottles were separated, sliced, drawn, converted into remeltable particles, and finally extruded into new fibers. Laiwa company then uses those fibers to make the bag. Though rPET can not infinitely reuse all the plastics, it's a relatively cheap and clean technology. rPET not only keeps plastic away from the environment, but also reduces the consumption of energy and oil resources, and carbon dioxide emissions.
