During this investigation project, we are required to research information and collect it. Everyone used their computer to gather information and produce text, so a total of 10 computers were used to complete this task. We used the internet to search for information, and mainly used learnbyspace.org to collect our research , and used google docs to produce our text and gather information. In addition, photos and videos were all collected in google drive, other resources were also shared in the google drive. While we used iMovie to edit our video and add substitutes. To create a survey to record the answered questions, google form is a suitable choice. We used Google Forms to create a survey and collect results of up to 300 responses and used Google Sheets to organize our data. Moreover, Google Sheets allowed us to create diagrams and graphs to know about Public understanding of Learn to Space education. It is important to have access to communicate with the Learn By Space corporation. We first reached out to them on Gmail, then we also used Facebook to communicate with the corporation. Using Facebook increased message efficiency, where our cyber fair team also created a line group to report our progress and trade information. These tools benefit our investigation by providing easy accessibility to organizing information and storage for preserving resources. Every technology employed during this investigation improved the communication speed and effectiveness.
As ambassadors for the project, students collaborated to exchange ideas and do further research. Students also surveyed for statistics to understand the topic and received feedback from others. The results from the survey gave us a better understanding of what to write and ask for in the interview. Students interviewed the association to learn more about space education and why it is important to help students from rural areas. As a spokesperson, our team speaks and acts on behalf of the school and the Cyberfair Club. As a representative of the school and the club, each member devoted our full effort to the interview. During the interview, some students posed questions to the interviewee, while others listened and took notes attentively. One student was in charge of filming the interview, and the others took pictures of the office.
Thanks to such a collaborative team, we were able to be seen as ambassadors and representatives throughout the entire project, carrying it out independently without receiving so much help from the teachers and assistants.
The education Due to the lack of confidence in the education of kids from remote areas, the Learn by Space Association promotes and teaches space education for children like this. They teach these kids knowledge about space that they can’t learn in school. They also did a lot of activities to introduce space education to remote areas. These activities make the kids learn by observing and creating space. This allows them to deeply understand the knowledge in it which also allows these kids to build up confidence and interest in space education. There are 4 main goals for the kids to achieve in this activity. For children who explored space education for the first time, they only want the kids to build up confidence and interest in education. For children who attended shortly, they will need to reduce the learning gap. And for medium terms, they have to expand their imagination of the future. Lastly for the long term, they need to develop together and work together.
As a part of the project, we visited Learn by Space and Ms. Lin to further understand space education. We were thankful that the staff allowed us to take videos and photos freely. It was a pleasure to receive details and a deeper understanding of space education while we were interviewing Ms.Lin. With their help, we could have the opportunity to learn more about new ways of education in the world. As students, we have learned about the unique ways of education we have never seen in our school. Once again, we would like to deeply thank Learn by Space for a great opportunity, allowing the team to get in touch with a domain and area we’ve never had the chance to grasp.
