Since the project focuses on environmental sustainability and energy storage systems, it has established our fundamental understanding within the industry. We have delved into potential solutions for the challenges Taiwan is facing with respect to energy production and consumption. It was a rewarding opportunity through which we stepped out of our comfort zone and collected primary sources through interviews and a visit to the factory. The entire process, from conducting rigorous research to interviewing SEETEL Company and paying a visit to the assembly line of the factory, was a bold and thoughtful approach we took to gain deep insight into the industry. Simultaneously, we have acknowledged the interconnectedness between the industry and our community, indicating how advancements in certain industries affect the community's overall performance. Specifically, the vast research we have conducted on energy industries has revealed underlying players in the field that contribute to further development in areas such as AI and information storage. Considering the growth in modern technology, laws have been set to regulate the usage and expansion of these techniques. The team has developed a deep understanding of how each set of laws plays a role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of energy companies.
Not only has this project demonstrated our research and composition skills, but it has also further enhanced our collaboration within the team. Throughout the year, the team had to distribute work amongst group members, during which we had to find a common working balance through the use of communication, both in-person and online. The opportunity to develop such skills in our project translates back to our daily lives, where communication and collaboration with others are fundamental for effective teamwork and in achieving shared goals. Next time, we look forward to further nurturing our critical thinking abilities. Our project can transcend building a body of known facts and consider different perspectives on the matter. Through analyzing the strengths, efficacy, and challenges of potential solutions, our team would be able to bring our project to a higher level of completeness and depth.
