As a third-year participant of the cyberfair, I was able to apply the skills I’ve learned in my past experiences and lead my teammates in this year’s project. I especially enjoyed the interview process of Cyberfair as it allowed me to connect with people and gain first-hand insight on the distinct industries in Taiwan. Through interviews, I was able to further develop my communication skills, and I learned how to connect with people and learn about their perspectives through thoughtful conversations. Although I wasn’t able to fully assist our team throughout the whole process, I still gained valuable experience from this year’s project and would like to contribute more next year!

As a third-year participant in the Cyberfair, this is both a significant and transformative learning experience. I was primarily responsible for conducting interviews and analyzing surveys this year, which allowed for real-world communication rather than relying on class theories. Especially during the interview, I learned how to produce objective and clear questions relating to the concept of our project, which was environmental awareness on marine plastic waste. The process of interviewing also made me learn social engagement with others while listening carefully with appropriate responses regarding the interviewee.

This is my first year participating in Cyber Fair, and it was a valuable learning experience for me. Through this interview, I have learned how to design a survey and how to participate with my teammates in communication and sharing responsibilities. Even though I wasn’t familiar with the organization and how to relate the concepts to our topic, I gradually improved by asking questions and learning from my team. Overall, this experience helped me gain confidence and taught me important skills that will be useful in future projects.

Participating in Cyber Fair for the third year has been both challenging and rewarding. Our team faced hardships such as insufficient data collection. However, since it’s my third year, I’m now pretty confident of my role throughout the research. With new members joining our team, my role shifted to a leadership role. As an experienced member of the team, I was responsible for guiding the new members in our team. This year, our team also made significant improvements, especially in time management. We managed to arrange the interview before the semester started. Even though, as 10th-grade students, everyone has their own schedule and plans, every member still actively participated in every part of the project. In conclusion, despite learning about marine recycling and improving my writing skills, I feel that our team has grown together and become more united.

This is my third year participating in Cyber Fair, and attempting this study provides a new learning opportunity for me. As a member who participated for three years, I am more familiar with my role and what I should do, enabling me to manage my time and tasks better than in the past two years. Moreover, throughout this new topic, I learned new information about the economic system related to the company we investigated. In conclusion, this project helps me improve my critical research and thinking skills, bringing effective improvements to my overall comprehensive ability.

This is my first year joining the cyberfair. I was nervous since I’m not familiar with the process of making this project nor the structure of the website; however, after I met with my teammates, we eventually learn how to communicate and collaborate, asking questions and exchanging thoughts effectively. I learned how to translate Chinese into English using appropriate sentence structure and word choice. Since the language systems of Chinese and English are very different, I found it challenging. However, I still manage to translate it and learn how to express the meaning of Chinese in English correctly. Doing Cyber Fair is very different from doing a school project. It does not have a clear rubric or structure for how we should write it. We think of what information we should include, what the structure of the website is, and what is the order the information should be presented in, by ourselves. Thanks to this project, I also learned abundant knowledge related to the topic of circular economy, marine conservation, and how these two topics combine to reach the goal of carbon emission effectively.

This is my first year participating in the CyberFair team, and it has been a remarkable and meaningful learning experience. One of the most unforgettable moments is the interview. The entire team went to Tainan and conducted interviews using the questions we had prepared throughout the previous semester. After the interview, the organization introduced some recyclable products and answered our questions regarding the circular system of recycling. I  wasn’t familiar with the concepts that the organization introduced, especially when it comes to the circular economy. Through designing a survey and researching how the recycling industry operates, I gradually developed a broader understanding of how sustainability can be connected and applied to our lives.

This is my third year participating in the CyberFair team, and it has been a remarkable and meaningful learning experience for me. As a third-year member of the team, I have gained the skills that are a prerequisite for the club. Whether it’s recording down concise notes during an interview or planning a well-structured form, I was able to integrate these skills and apply them to different aspects of this club. One particular skill that I’ve learned throughout my time in the club is the ability to be empathetic towards others’ ideas, that is, to understand others’ perspectives, further allowing myself to mentally inhabit and explore the idea and develop it into a more enhanced one. This year, using the skills I’ve learned, I’m thrilled to explore the complexity of the company RebornPlas and its way of integrating the circular economy.

This is my third year involved in the cyberfair project. I have been involved in the role of website making since I joined the Cyber Fair Club. The role of a website maker involves various skills, such as communication with my teammates to decide what content is important to be included, or even the templates needed to be used for the website. However, one major obstacle is to improve myself every year and include new elements to the website, such as learning from other projects made by other schools. Every year, my teammates and I would come together and discuss our strengths and weaknesses. We came to notice that one of our great limitations is including different insights and points of view in the project, which we would hope to improve this year. Through the process of understanding the company of RebornPlas, I have a better awareness of the waste surrounding us, and hopefully, someday in the future, we will be able to use all the technology and resources we possess to solve this problem.

This is my second year participating in the Cyberfair, and I find many differences when compared to the first year. I become more familiar with the process of Cyberfair, which makes me work faster and contribute more to the team and project. I experienced many challenges. One of the challenges I faced was that I didn’t fully understand the concepts of RebornPlas during the interview. Still, my teammates explained it to me clearly and easily, which helped me become more familiar with the concepts. I have improved my teamwork and collaboration skills in the whole process of the project, which will help me a lot in future group projects. In conclusion, this year’s project is a new and interesting experience for me, and made me enhance my own skills.

This is my second year participating in the International Cyber Fair project. The first year, I was not familiar with the format of developing websites and conducting research, so I needed to constantly ask my teammate about my accuracy, formatting, and sentence structure. However, this year, with enough experience and knowledge on research-related topics, I can finally build some self-confidence in this competition. This year, our target is RebornPlas, a recycling-based industry. Interviewing the company and researching will assist me in gaining deeper information on marine recycling. Moreover, doing survey analysis and deep research on SDGs can improve my research skills and enhance my critical thinking skills, which I find significantly beneficial for doing daily tasks or even schoolwork. As a result, enrolling in this project is a remarkable opportunity and impactful experience for me, while exploring how recycling and global issues connect to our daily lives.

This is my second year participating in CyberFair, and this project has exceeded my expectations for being brilliantly enlightening. Thanks to the project, I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding marine conservation and the business models aiming to achieve a circular economy. As the current team leader, I have also acquired various leadership skills, such as integrating team members’ ideas during research, coordinating team members when interviewing with the RebornPlas company, and assigning tasks to share the work during the development of the website. However, in terms of experience, I am not the most seasoned among the team members. I was occasionally confused with miscellaneous problems such as formatting, website structure, and timeline, but thanks to the help of more experienced team members, I was always able to overcome these minor challenges. Overall, working with the RebornPlas company for this project has been a fascinating experience, opening a brand new vision for the future of sustainable material science and the circular economy. I am genuinely grateful for the nurturing experience supported by my brilliant teammates and the delightful collaboration with RebornPlas.
