The environmentally friendly products had achieved the UN SDGs “clean water and sanitation,” “life below water,” “Sustainable cities and communities,” and “responsible consumption and production.” In 2019, Taiwan had cleaned the ocean waste. There 60% of waste is discarded fishing nets, which lead many marine animals to twine by the fishing nets which causes death. Therefore, the company Hibāng has recycled the discarded fishing nets and produced environmentally friendly eyewear. This can decrease the ocean discarded fishing nets and also can satisfy the demand for eyewear. The environmentally friendly eyewear has achieved the circular economy purpose of reuse, recycling, and reduction to achieve the value of the UN.
